Saxon Physics Olympiad 2012

An der ersten Runde (Hausaufgabenwettbewerb) der 13. Sächsischen Physikolympiade nahmen 11 Schüler unserer Schule teil. Davon hatten 3 Schüler in der Vorrunde so viele Punkte erreicht bzw. hatten so gute Lösungen, dass diese sich gegen eine Vielzahl anderer Schüler vieler Gymnasien durchsetzten und zur 2. Stufe, den Regionalwettbewerb im Bereich Dresden, delegiert werden konnten.

Die 2. Stufe erreichten:

  • Tom Kraut aus der Klasse 6/1
  • Olivia Zimmer aus der Klasse 6/5
  • Tillmann Kranz aus der Klasse 9/2

Die 2. Stufe fand am Martin-Andersen-Nexö-Gymnasium in Dresden statt. Tillmann Kranz gelang es erneut, so viele Punkte zu erreichen, dass er an der 3. Stufe der Sächsischen Physikolympiade teilnehmen konnte.

Saxon Physics Olympiad 2009

Gernot and Josua gathered so many credits that they qualified for the 3rd level. They received a book token. Unfortunately, Richard failed to reach the third level, but he also received a book token.

The third level took place in Chemnitz on April 24th, 2009.

Saxon Physics Olympiad 2008

On the basis of their excellent performance in the preliminary round of the Saxon Physics Olympiad, the following students managed to qualify for the second level:

Lucas Hoffmann grade 7
Gernot Kranz grade 7
Richard Mörbitz grade 7
Anna Sophie Jonn grade 8
Josua Schlotter grade 8

Saxon Physics Olympiad 2007

Nine students of our school took part in the Saxon Physics Olympiad 2006/2007. After the homework competition in December 2006, Richard Mörbitz (grade 6/3) and Josua Schlotter (grade 7/4) qualified for the second round of the competition in Dresden. Both students had very good results, which is why Richard received a token of recognition, and Josua could qualify for the third and last round in Chemnitz on April 27th/28th, 2007. The competition took place in the Johannes-Kepler-Gymnasium. Josua managed to solve one task better than any of the other participants and was awarded a special prize.
