Christmas Concert & Christmas market at FSG

This is the famous Christmas song, with which the performers welcomed parents and guests to this year’s Christmas concert at Schiller Gymnasium. This song was the opener for two hours of ‘sweet and lovely’ music. The repertoire was very attractive and diverse.
Just like in previous years, the week before Christmas means interdisciplinary learning for our students. The goal of this special week is to give them a possibility to approach a topic from many different perspectives, establish connections between individual subjects and to tackle big issues holistically.
On November 25 and 26, 2014 we (grades 10/1 and 10/2) went on a two-day study trip to Terezín also called Teresienstadt. Our teachers Ms. Voigt, Mr. Hennig and Mr. Křenek accompanied us.
Am Samstag, den 20.09.2014, sind wir um 8.30 Uhr vom Pirnaer Bahnhof nach Prag zum Sprachpraktikum aufgebrochen. Mit dem Zug kamen wir nach 2,5- stündiger Fahrt in Praha Holešovice an. Dort begrüßten uns unsere Gastfamilien. Per Auto oder Straßenbahn fuhren wir zu ihnen nach Hause.
In September 2014 we, four teachers and a number of students from class 11, travelled to London. We were all looking forward to 5 days full of amazing activities in and around one of the most famous cities in the world. Even though the journey there was not the most comfortable one, everybody arrived safe and sound.
